OBAMA'S MYSTERIOUS HEALTHCARE PLAN

So I watched Obama's speech last night on his healthcare reform. And aside from lying through his teeth and indirectly blaming Bush for everything, he rambled on and on about what his healthcare plan was going to do for everyone. From what I remember, his plan would limit the amount of money insurance companies can charge you and make sure all uninsured Americans receive coverage. There were more "promises" made, but the kicker is that all this is going to be FREE. Even when asked by a reporter what sacrifices the American people would have to make to support this magical healthcare system, he responded, "They'll have to give up paying for things they don't need." So don't worry, the top 5% of America will pay for it! I did my math. This means roughly 15.2 million people will support 304,704,395 people on this healthcare program.

So anyways, I think Bill O'Reilly summed up my feelings the best. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT HE'S GOING TO DO!

Seriously, he did not say what the plan was, what the steps were, and certainly not the numbers and cost of this cockamamy scheme. He just went in an endless circle of blaming Bush and Republicans, listing all the free stuff we're going to get, and bragging how his administration is going to cut the national deficit from $9 trillion to $7 trillion. Too bad we are actually $11 trillion in debt. Clue number one, Sherlock, that the President is lying.

All in all, the real problem I have with the President is that everything he says is a stretch of the truth or a means of hiding the truth. All I wanted to know is what he planned to do, how much it was going to cost, and who was going to pay for it. The only answer I got was to the latter. However, even that sounds like a lie to me. Eventually, the healthcare tax will seep into the paychecks of the lower and middle classes too. But by then, we'll all be royally boned.
